Googley? Naja was macht Google so erfolgreich?

Kleine Tipps für Ubuntu 8.04 Beta

Soo, da ich nun koplett auf meinem neuen Rechner Ubuntu 8.04 Beta 1 nutze hier ein paar sachen über die ich gestolpert bin
Problem: Mit flglrx (Closed Source ATI Treiber) geht kein XV
Abhilfe: Bug #197639
In xorg.conf bei Device Option “TexturedVideo” “on” eingragen (siehe Launchpad eintrag)
Problem: elisa media center startet nicht
Abhilfe: Bug #201133
apt-get install python-setuptools
Ansonten sehr gelungen, viele verbesserungen und sehr schnell! Für Beta auch sehr stabil!
Vorallem Pulse Audio ist der Wahnsinn, man sollte sich allerdings alle pa* Pakete zum Konfiguieren installieren.
